Who ART Helps

How it works: Dr. Barrera puts pressure on a tight muscle while you move it through its range. This frees up scar tissue and adhesions so the tissue can move and heal normally.

Conditions we see
Tennis and golfer's elbow: repeated gripping irritates the forearm tendons. ART releases the forearm muscles, and loading exercises rebuild the tendon.
Plantar fasciitis: tight calves and foot tissue pull on the heel, causing sharp morning pain. ART frees the calf and foot, then we strengthen the arch.
Nerve entrapment (for example, carpal tunnel): tight tissue traps a nerve, causing numbness or tingling. ART frees the nerve's path so it can glide normally.
